Drawing 73/100 of the drawing a day for 100 days challenge. My parents taught me discipline, dedication, commitment and hard work by example. One of the best pieces of advice my dad ever gave me was to save. Work and save my money. He would tell me “One day you are going to have a great idea, you are going to want to pursue something and to make it happen you will need money, so work hard and save your money. “ Ever since I could, I worked. Since I was 16 years old I always had a job and I always strived for straight A’s getting my honor roll since the third grade and then going on to college and graduating with honors. I remember my first job at 16 was at a retail store called LVLX and I got paid $6.50 an hour before taxes 😭. It was because of my life savings and my dad’s advice that I had the money to say yes to an opportunity in Los Angeles right out of college. Because of my dad’s advice now I have the luxury of being my own boss, waking up with a breathtaking view and with no alarm clock. I get to paint and draw all day, everyday! I love the quote by Warren G. “Entrepreneurship is living a few years of your life like most people won’t so you can spend the rest of your life like most people cant.” Invest in your mind. ———————————— traducción al español en los comentarios tradotto in italiano nei commenti tradotto in portoghese nei commenti ———————————————————— Art prints and original paintings on the site link in bio🌼

Drawing 90/100 of the drawing a day for 100 days challenge. Before you keep reading what is your interpretation? . . . . . . . . Sometimes we spend so much time with other people and not enough time by ourselves exploring our thoughts and being present with ourselves and our feelings. When we do get time alone we turn on the TV, we listen to music or we go online. How much time do you truly dedicate to yourself? I feel that it is vital to grow as a person if we spend more time with ourselves exploring our mind, thoughts and feelings and less time drowning them out with other things. I’ve had these thoughts for many years and illustrated this as a quick sketch 4 years ago and posted it on my IG page. I’ll post the original sketch in my IG story. ———————————————————— Art prints and original paintings on the site link in bio🌼

Today is International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. What does this illustration mean to you? What is your interpretation? . . . . I have met too many women that were or are in an abusive relationship whether it be physical or emotional including myself. The worst part is that they don't realize they are in an abusive relationship most of the time. They think, he's just very passionate, he cares for me so much so that's why he gets like that, he just gets upset but he's sorry, he has mental issues.. whatever it may be if you are arguing all of the time that is NOT HEALTHY. If you are sad more than you are happy that is not healthy. I have someone close to me that's in one of these relationships right now where they argue, cry and then get over it and then it's a cycle all over again. You're so accustomed to the little bubble you live in you think that's just the way things are. Write down every time you get into an argument, what was said, what was done and how you feel. Then write down every time you are happy and why. After three months go back and look at your entries. If there is more sadness and arguments and negativity that positive happy moments, get out. Even if your partner threatens you, or threatens to hurt themselves. That's what happens in many cases, if you are concerned for their well being tell their parents or best friend and they will take care of it. It's not your responsibility. Then block their number and live for you and if you have children for you and your children. Once you cut negativity and abuse out of your life it will open up room for positivity and happiness. To those women going through this now, I hope you find strength to leave sooner than later ❤️🙏🏼✨ . . And she is in the closet because it's the only place she has where she can be by herself and let go.

6. Beso sorpresa...

7. Por fin en casa...

8. Tú, mi cabello, y yo...

Drawing 78/100 of the drawing a day for 100 days challenge. Last night I woke up in the middle of the night saying “owww you’re on my hair” and then @joeyrudman moves over and I pulled it to my side. In the morning he told me that when I said that he thought in his head “well, it’s taking up the whole bed” 🤣🤣🤣 —————————————— Anoche me desperté en medio de la noche diciendo "owww estas encima de mi pelo " y luego @joeyrudman se mueve y muevo mi cabello a mi lado. I’ve been getting messages of people telling me that they can translate my titles in their language better than google translate. 9. Siempre a mi lado...

Drawing 11/100 of the drawing a day for 100 days challenge. Before you keep reading my inspiration behind this comment your interpretation in the comments! Every time we do this exercise you guys blow my mind with your responses. It’s so interesting to read everyone’s interpretation from around the world. . . . . . . . . I am visiting my family right now ( they live across the country) I was sleeping in my sisters old room and in the middle of the night my mom came to get into bed with me because my dad was snoring really loud. We laid in bed just like that holding hands and in that moment I was so happy. Sometimes I get emotional being away from my mom and in that moment I knew that in the future when I was sad I would wish I could relive it. This drawing idea came into my mind and I reluctantly told my mom to hold on for just a second because I had to write it down in my list of ideas. And here it is. ❤️🎨

10. Abrazos que nos derriten.

Drawing 30/100 of the drawing a day for 100 days challenge. Before you keep reading my thought and story behind this drawing comment your interpretation in the comments. There is no wrong or right answer. This is a fun exercise we do on this page sometimes and then reading back everyone’s responses is usually a lot of fun to go through! . . . . . . . . . . . . . This is inspired by a funny pillow talk story. @joeyrudman gave me a kiss on my neck one night and I whispered “I’m melting”. He couldn’t hear so he said “What?” And again I said, “ I’m melting.” Then he said “What did you say? I can’t hear you?” And then I turned around and said I. AM. MELTING. clearly not melting anymore and we both bursted out laughing for what felt like forever. 😂😂 // If you want to share any funny stories under this thread feel free, when you do I always find myself cracking up. (P.s if you want to read a funny comment thread on this page go to the drawing of the girl crying holding the birth control) Title: I AM MELTING ———————————————————————— Time-Lapse of the process of this drawing in the Instagram Story.

12. ¿Gatubela, eres tú?

Drawing 58/100 of the drawing a day for 100 days challenge. This is when you are cuddling and you accidentally scratch your love with your toe nail... 🤗sorry! . . This is inspired by last night when I got very close to @joeyrudman ‘s toe nail and he was like “careful!” And then it brought me back to the time he scratched me and it bleed and left a scar 😂 my mind immediately went to this drawing idea but of course I had to exaggerate it a bit for effect. 🤗 . 🤗 ——————————————— Time-lapse in the Instagram story. ————————————————— Prints and originals available on my site, link in bio🌷🎨

13. Cuando no me alimentan...

Drawing 42/100 of the drawing a day for 100 days challenge. Sometimes I get hangry. I have two levels of hangry. 1. When I haven’t eaten much for a long period of time and 2. When I save a leftover to eat later and come to find someone else ate it. // 2. Hasn’t happened since I was living with my parents, one of my sisters would eat my leftovers and it drove me nuts. —————————————————— Tengo dos niveles de hambre. 1. —————————————————— Time-lapse in the IG story.

15. Nunca vamos solas al baño...

Drawing 100/100 !!!! 🎊 When you are in your zone and then you realize you are responsible for another living being who needs to go outside while it's snowing at 7 am 🌨❄️ . . 16. Sábanas nuevas... Qué placentera sensación.

Drawing 37/100 of the drawing a day for 100 days challenge. What is your interpretation? Comment before you keep reading! . . . . . . . . This drawing is inspired by the concept of changing simple things around you to make your daily life better. Lighting your favorite candles, getting new towels, re-arranging your furniture, adding more plants to your home. Yesterday we changed our sheets to our new @cloudten sheets and I woke up today thinking, why did it take so long to do this? We needed new sheets the last ones we had were pilling and we never really noticed until before the holidays. This morning I didn’t want to get out of bed, they are so comfy. So here’s the illustration! (Side note, each sheet set purchased funds a blanket for a terminally ill child and the sheets are made with non-toxic, environmentally-friendly dyes crafted responsibly.) So I definitely recommend them!

Drawing 16/100 of the drawing a day for 100 days challenge. What’s your interpretation? . . . . . . . . . This drawing idea came to me earlier this month when @joeyrudman and I went to San Diego and stayed in that “haunted” hotel. I have SO much hair so it takes a long time to blow dry.. I was standing in front of the mirror blow drying my hair and then this image came into my mind. I wrote it down and here it is :). Happy Wednesday! ————————————————————————— Art prints and original paintings on the site link in bio🌼
